Minimal Footprint, Unique Power Density
AVL E-STORAGE SiC™ is based on the latest 1700 V Silicon-Carbide (SiC) technology and extends the test range for units under test (UUT) beyond 800 V. The multi-channel system enables you to run two different UUT at the same time on one device, with up to 1200 V and 1000 A per channel. Compared to the previous generation, the device is 50% more compact, while providing 25% more power - of course combined with the familiar AVL performance.

E-STORAGE SiC is delivering high-quality test results. We have designed its performance to ensure system and time accuracy for exact replays of driving profiles. This leads to a highly efficient testing process that saves time and reduces costs. Furthermore, you can use the device as a highly stable voltage source.

Its control strategy is optimized to ensure realistic battery modelling when used as a standalone application solution and when integrated into our automation platform. You can replicate test runs for multiple testing scenarios applying different models.

Maximum Flexibility and Scalability
AVL E-STORAGE SiC™ is optimized for existing testbed integration. Combined with a Power Distribution Switch Box (PDSB), it provides maximum flexibility for the power and current being used in different testbeds.

The device can automatically detect which kind of testbed it is connected to. Based on this, it loads the optimized control parameters to guarantee the best testing performance. You can easily switch between different testbeds. This helps you utilize the entire test field, while lowering the testbed downtime.
