description
The virtual validation of the e-motor cooling system is carried out by simulating the temperatures of the individual components of the e-motor. When simulating temperature of oil spray cooled e-motor the multiphase flow must also be taken into account. In order to grasp the complexity of such simulation, engineers need in-depth knowledge in the creation of meshes as well as in the creation of models specifically for the cooling of the e-motor by oil spray.
The most exciting new feature of our latest release are the application-specific solution apps like the E-Motor Cooling App that make simulation easy even for beginners. In this webinar, we will show you how to use the guided workflow to quickly and easily set up the model and get reliable results. Taking into account all the necessary physical phenomena, you can use it to effortlessly perform complex e-motor spray cooling simulations to predict the temperature of the electric motor in just a few steps.
• Demonstrate software capability for 3D simulation of E-Motor Oil Spray Cooling
• Insights in E-Motor Cooling App: High fidelity simulation tool that can accurately predict temperatures
• Reduce setup complexity and prepare e-motor cooling models in minutes instead of days
• With support of our AVL eSUITE achieve more accurate prediction of e-motor temperatures and pre-calculation of heat sources required for e-motor thermal simulation
