The global roll-out of E-Mobility requires battery lifecycle management along the whole value chain to improve battery value and profitability. Monitoring the battery and vehicle status from production to the vehicle fleet’s “in-use” phase, aided by advanced battery lifetime methodologies, allows a data driven prediction of battery degradation and lifetime, and hence, enables the optimization of battery design, management and the EV’s operation strategy. As a result, the battery lifetime will be maximized and optimized for second life applications.
